Jeremy Lin Hits the Pickleball Court in Macau With Venise Chan and Asia Aces

Andrew Lee

Venise Chan spent part of her week in Macau on court with Jeremy Lin. The Hong Kong pickleball player and her Asia Aces team hit with the NBA legend ahead of his NBA Legends appearance at The Venetian Macau, and finished with a three-set match that she says went their way.

Tips, drills and a three-set match

Chan shared a few pickleball tips and a warm-up drill with Lin, with the Asia Aces team alongside her. Lin's "natural court vision and athleticism took over," she wrote on 8 Oct.

Then came the match. "We put it all to the test in an epic 3-set match and pulled off the win!"

The week around it

NBA House, the fan event with 10 NBA legends, returns to The Venetian Arena in Cotai from 7 to 11 Oct as part of the NBA China Games partnership with The Venetian Macao. Chan's session came before Lin's NBA Legends appearance at The Venetian Macau.

Chan's pickleball year

Chan describes herself as Hong Kong's No. 1 pickleball player from 2021 to 2025. In July she won the 35+ Pro women's singles title at the China Pickleball Open Grand Finale 2026, after, in her words, playing it "like the last dance" with no practice. She has also described building the Asia Aces Pickleball Academy herself.
