"Why 1980?" Kid Chan on Sharing a Pickleball Session With the TVB Stars He Grew Up Watching
Andrew LeePickleball coach Kid Chan wrote on 22 Oct that "today" he played in the same session as the TVB stars he grew up watching. The session was hosted by Tomaz Pickleball, and his post opens: "Grew up watching TVB every night. Did you?"

"Why 1980?"
Kid Chan says he told Michelle Yim he had been watching her since 1980. She asked, "Why 1980?" His reply, in his own words: "Because I was born in 78. And my mom bought our first colour TV in 1980."

Linda Chung was there too; he says he first saw her alongside Yim in Moonlight Resonance, "the mooncake show." Of that generation of fans he writes, "one look and we were all fans. My wife knows. It's fine."
A session with more than TVB names
His caption describes Lai Lok Yi as a "TVB heartthrob" and lists "many of our talented local artists like Amber Chia, Jojo Goh, @tongbingyu and more."

The hosts, and an earlier session
Kid Chan thanked "Brother Vincent and Joanne for organising, Sister May for making sure I didn't miss this, and Brother Thomas of Tomaz Pickleball for hosting us at the beautiful Coliseum."
On 5 Aug he also posted about playing there with Miss Hong Kong 2010 and TVB artiste Toby (@toby_yanyan), thanking Toby, May and Darius "at Tomaz Pickleball."
He closed the 22 Oct post with a question for his followers: "Who's one famous person you met unexpectedly through pickleball?" Before it, one line: "The little boy in me is still smiling."
