What's New for 2026
Alex Tran, breaking down the changes for this edition, named three additions: a CSR partnership with Shelter Home for Children, the tournament's new status as an APP Asia qualifier, and a bigger festival footprint spanning both PARC Subang and PARC Hub. RM5 from every registration goes to Shelter Home, matched ringgit for ringgit by Paramount Property, the tournament's title sponsor.
Eight junior categories are new this year too, from U10 Co-ed Singles up through U16 Boys Doubles, alongside the existing Open, High Intermediate, Intermediate, and Novice bands. Independent coverage puts total expected turnout above 900 players, which would make this one of Malaysia's largest pickleball tournaments by prize pool and field size alike.
A Second Edition at a Growing Venue
PLAYA Racquet Club hosts the tournament across 9 indoor and 14 outdoor and covered courts, with a dedicated Grandstand court reserved for finals. The venue's own ISLA Cafe handles food and drinks courtside, and organizers are promoting air-conditioned chill zones and live screen broadcasts for spectators.
Registration runs through Sports Sync, requiring a linked DUPR account to enter. The organizers haven't published a specific registration cap, only that slots close once filled.
