Borneo's RM80,000 Pickleball Tournament Opens Entries at Pikabol
Andrew LeeThe 2nd Borneo Pickleball International Tournament (BPIT) 2026 has opened registration through the Sports We Play tournament platform with seven categories, from a team event to a Women's Double Open, at Pikabol Malaysia in Kuching.
The event is organised by the Kuching Pickleball Association, according to Sarawak Tribune, and carries an RM80,000 combined prize pool, according to Pickle Asia.

The dates differ by source. The Kuching Pickleball Association's 28 Sep partner announcement says 7 to 12 Oct 2026 at Pikabol. The registration caption says 8 to 10 Oct, and the poster reads 8 to 11 Oct. The listing may cover only the days those categories play, but the posts do not say.
The category list also differs from the line-up Sarawak Tribune described in July, which included Men's Open Singles, Men's Veterans Doubles 50 and over, and Open Mixed Doubles with a combined age of 90. The listing does not say whether those remain.

Organisers expect more than 500 players and around 1,500 visitors, with players from Sarawak, Sabah, Peninsular Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, Taiwan and India among those expected, per Sarawak Tribune.
