Kamito Malaysia Youth athlete Ethan Chan is the Men's Singles U18 champion at the PPA Asia 1000 Leapmotor Kuala Lumpur Cup 2026, a US$300,000 event held 9-13 Sep at The Hood in Kuala Lumpur. It is the highest tier he has won this month, and the third podium of his week.

Six days earlier, Chan and doubles partner Brandon Basas took bronze in U16 Doubles at the Heineken Pickleball World Cup 2026 in Da Nang, Vietnam, part of a three-medal haul for Malaysia's junior squad reported directly by RTM. Two days after that, on 8 Sep, Chan was runner-up in U18 Singles at the PPA Asia 125 MAS Tomaz Cup. By 11 Sep he had turned that runner-up finish into a title at a tier eight times the size.

RTM's report on the Da Nang result named both players' team as the e23 Junior Pro Pickleball Team, coached by Gee Ci Long, the same "e23" patch visible on Chan's kit at each of his three results this month. He signed with Kamito Malaysia Youth in July.

Kamito's youth program had a strong showing at the Kuala Lumpur Cup more broadly. Fellow Kamito Youth athlete Jaymie Zi Xuan Ngow took bronze in Women's Singles U18 the same week.
