Dahlia Rizal and Jenn Chia Are Taking On Anna Leigh Waters
Andrew LeeA world No. 1 will take on two local favorites in Kuala Lumpur on 17 Oct. Franklin Pickleball Malaysia has confirmed the Celebrity Showdown at the Franklin Asia Pickleball Showcase: Dahlia Rizal and Jenn Chia will pair up to challenge Anna Leigh Waters.
The showcase runs on Saturday, 17 Oct 2026, from 6pm to 10pm, with doors opening at 4:30pm. The venue is the 91 Pickleball Clubhouse at Hextar Empire City, Kuala Lumpur.
The Matchup
Franklin calls it a matchup "for the books": two local favorites against what it describes as pickleball royalty. Rizal is billed on the poster as a Franklin ambassador and model. Chia is billed as a content creator and host. Franklin's announcement also tags the @waters_pb account alongside Waters.
The Celebrity Showdown is one piece of a wider night. Franklin's event graphics list an exhibition match, a meet and greet, and a new paddle launch. Franklin has also named three local Olympians for a separate exhibition against Waters.
