e23 Unbound Project Turns One, With Cake and Kitchen Wars
Andrew LeeThe e23 Unbound Project turned one with a cake-cutting and a game of "kitchen wars", played with cooking pans and cutting boards in place of paddles.
Coach Gee Ci Long shared the anniversary on Instagram, saying the second year is going to be more amazing.

Elsewhere in the celebration, the kids played pickleball with pans and cutting boards. Gee credited @wuiyangee and @e23.labs for giving the kids a platform to grow and become leaders.

Junior player Elton Liew marked the same milestone from the player side. In a clip captioned as a rollercoaster of a year, he said the growth "hit different" and described himself as still hungry and still developing.
Elton thanked @gee_pickleball, his coach, for laying down his foundation and constantly elevating his game on and off the court. He also thanked @e23.unbound for backing the team on the global stage.

The clip opens with the text "Happy 1st Anniversary e23 Junior Pro Team". On-screen text beside the red e23 paddle he holds reads: sweet spot OK, grit very OK, price extremely OK, and the belief and guidance "priceless".
Elton closed with "Year 2, let's keep building."
