Two Legs, Two Venues

Leg 1 is the away match on Saturday 24 Oct, 1pm to 4pm, at AlphaGenz Pickleball Club in Taman Connaught, Cheras. Leg 2 is the home match on Sunday 25 Oct, also 1pm to 4pm, at Stadium Pickleball KWC, Level 15, KWC Fashion Wholesale, Kuala Lumpur.

Admission is free on both days. Spectators who register for Sunday's home match get two hours of free play at Stadium Pickleball KWC from 5pm, straight after the prize-giving.

The League Behind It

The NPL launched on Sunday 4 Oct, alongside an inaugural Intercity Trophy Challenge between Team Kuala Lumpur and Team Shah Alam. Team Kuala Lumpur took the trophy 15-7 across two days, in a set of 22 category matches, most of which went to three sets.

Stadium Pickleball KWC describes the league as stakeholder-driven, built with pickleball venue owners who contribute facilities and operational support, and as one that puts amateur and professional players in the same league. The 24 and 25 Oct matches are listed as pre-season action. Team KL's recruitment post says cash prize money comes into play when the official NPL season launches in January 2027.

Team KL also opened roster spots in its Open divisions to players rated DUPR 4.00 and above, with trials for shortlisted applicants.
