Game, Move, Connect: PxP Open Day Brings Pickleball Culture to Life

On 28 March 2026, PxP opens its doors at Pavilion Damansara Heights for a full-day showcase that goes far beyond the court. PxP Open Day is not just an event it is a statement of intent. Designed as a convergence of sport, wellness, and community, the day brings together competitive players, casual enthusiasts, families, and corporate partners into a single, immersive lifestyle experience.

At its core, PxP is positioning itself as more than a pickleball venue. It is a social and wellness hub, where movement, connection, and culture coexist and this Open Day is a live demonstration of that vision.

Something for Every Pace of Play

PxP Open Day is built on a simple philosophy: wellness is not one-dimensional. Whether you are chasing performance, seeking balance, or simply looking for a meaningful way to spend your weekend, the programming is designed to meet you where you are.

From high-energy drills to restorative sessions, the event encourages guests to explore different forms of movement, not just as activities, but as part of a broader lifestyle.

For the Competitive Athlete: Train, Play, Repeat

The day kicks off with a grounded approach to performance. A Qi Gong session led by Coach Michael sets the tone, focusing on body activation and mental clarity before players step onto the court.

From there, players transition into structured Titan Ball drills, guided by on-ground marshals to sharpen reflexes, improve hand speed, and build rally consistency. For those looking to take their game further, coach-led sessions featuring Coach Janice, Coach Buddy, and Coach Patricia provide targeted insights into gameplay improvement, strategy, and technique.

As the day progresses, competitive energy builds through 10-minute rally challenges and mini-games, encouraging rotation, adaptability, and social interaction as a reminder that pickleball thrives as much on connection as it does on competition.

The Franklin Takeover: Where Community Comes Alive

The centerpiece of the day arrives in the afternoon with the Franklin Takeover Open Play Session from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. This is where PxP’s community-first philosophy takes full shape.

Open to all levels, the courts transform into a dynamic, rotating ecosystem of players beginners, intermediates, and advanced competitors sharing space, games, and experiences. It is less about winning and more about participation, visibility, and building connections within Malaysia’s rapidly growing pickleball scene.

Wellness Beyond the Court

PxP’s vision extends well beyond gameplay. Inside the Multi-Purpose Hall, a curated lineup of wellness sessions provides balance to the high-energy action on court.

A Sound Bath session with Kit Yin offers a deeply restorative experience, promoting relaxation and mental clarity. Yoga with Cyndi Chee focuses on flexibility and mindful movement, while Pilates with Sasha Ho targets core strength, posture, and body alignment.

These sessions reflect a growing shift in sports culture where recovery, mindfulness, and holistic health are becoming just as important as performance.

Dance, Culture, and Social Energy

Beyond sport and wellness, PxP embraces movement as expression. The Dining and Dance Area transforms into a vibrant social space featuring line dancing with Jeamie, alongside Salsa, UrbanKiz, and Bachata workshops.

Live performances in K-Pop, Hip Hop, and Salsa Ladies Shines further energise the atmosphere, showcasing the diversity and creativity of the local dance community. It is a reminder that PxP is not just about structured activity, it is about creating moments of shared experience.

A Space for Families and the Next Generation

PxP Open Day is designed to be inclusive across all age groups. A dedicated Kid Zone offers interactive workshops such as pasta making and cupcake decorating, giving younger guests a creative outlet.

In addition, Kids Camp taster sessions introduce children to PxP’s youth development programs, reinforcing the venue’s long-term commitment to nurturing future players and active lifestyles from an early age.

Ending the Day with a Social Celebration

As the day transitions into evening, PxP shifts from activity to celebration. The After Party, hosted by SBK Socials and featuring DJ Harry and Hardbea7, brings the community together in a high-energy social setting.

It is the final expression of what PxP represents not just a place to play, but a place to connect, unwind, and belong.

More Than an Open Day

PxP Open Day is more than a one-day event. It is a blueprint for what the future of pickleball spaces can look like integrated, inclusive, and lifestyle-driven.

For those attending, it offers a glimpse into a new kind of sporting experience. For the wider community, it signals a shift: pickleball is no longer just a game, it is becoming a culture.
