Wika Moves Into Footwear With the Dominate, 950,000 VND in Four Colours

950,000 VND, four colours, sizes 36 to 45. Wika Pickleball launched the Dominate on 17 Sep, a court shoe it pitches on three words printed under the name on every product image: grip, stability, durability.

What Is In It

Wika lists five named components. A FLEX-SHIELD upper, a coated mesh the brand says is flexible but holds the foot during direction changes. An EVA midsole for cushioning on landing. HEEL-LOCK, to stop the foot sliding inside the shoe. MULTI-GRIP, a multi-directional groove pattern on the outsole for lateral moves and pivots. And an anti-torsion shank, which Wika says adds stability and helps prevent ankle rollovers. That last one is the spec that separates a court shoe from a running shoe, and it is the one worth checking on any pickleball shoe under 1 million VND.

The colours are Grey, Navy, White and Purple. Wika's caption gives the size run as 36 to 45, and the White product card matches that, but the Grey and Navy cards show 38 to 45, so the smaller sizes may be White-only. Ask before ordering if you are a 36 or 37.

Wika's Second Shoe, Not Its First

The Dominate is not Wika's first pair. The brand showed its Wika Armor shoe in five colourways on 8 Aug, so this is a second line in six weeks, and the two now sit alongside a paddle range that has had its own busy month: the QD Air V2 with Quang Duong, the NEXT-X, and the Forged in Fire launch tour, all covered by Pickle361. A Vietnamese paddle brand selling two shoe lines and running an eight-player tournament team is building full kit, not a paddle catalogue.

Wika has not said whether the Dominate will be sold outside Vietnam. Its paddles reach Malaysia through its own W-Lab tour stops and its athlete appearances; the shoes, so far, are a Vietnam listing at a Vietnam price.
