Paddletek-Backed Junior Kimberly Tan Sweeps Three Podiums on Merdeka Day
Andrew LeeJunior pickleball player Kimberly Tan, backed by Paddletek Malaysia, closes out Malaysia's Merdeka Day, 31 August, with three podium finishes at the Kidsnergy NextGen Series 2026 Pickleball Championship, organised by Kidsnergy Malaysia.
Tan takes gold in Girls' Doubles U12, silver in Girls' Singles U14, and bronze in Mixed Doubles U14, three separate events across two age divisions inside a single tournament.

Paddletek and MyPickleball Behind Her Run
Tan thanks Paddletek Malaysia and MyPickleball by name for their "trust, belief and continued support," language she uses to describe an ongoing relationship rather than a one-off sponsorship for this single event. She adds that their confidence in her "motivates me to work harder and dream bigger."
Tan also credits her coaches, Gee Pickleball and E23 Unbound, for pushing her through every training session and teaching her to keep fighting when things get tough, and thanks the wider e23 family for the environment and opportunities provided throughout the competition. Her doubles partners, @thesoulsister_pb and @bubufoo_darius.pb, share in the results, credited for trusting her and fighting alongside her on court. Two further sponsors named in the same thank-you, Airfly Malaysia and Larrie Active, are also credited for backing her run.
Tan framed the win as more than medals, calling the experience a reminder to stay grateful for her opportunities and to keep representing Malaysia's next generation of players. In her own words, the journey continues.
