The all-Vietnamese title match is set for this Sunday, on home soil.
The road to the final ran through a quarterfinal round that featured players from five different countries. Duong Thien Quang opened his run by defeating India's Arjun Singh 14-16, 16-14, 15-6, Martin Stanchev beat the USA's Ronan Camron 15-11, 12-15, 15-10, Phuc Huynh got past countryman Nguyen Viet Hoang 15-11, 15-8, and Ly Hoang Nam eliminated France's Emilien Burnel 15-12, 15-6. The tournament, presented by Heineken as title sponsor, has now narrowed the men's draw down to an all-Vietnam decider.
Stewart, Van Reek Set Women's Final
On the other side of the draw, the USA's Kat Stewart and the Netherlands' Roos Van Reek have booked their own spots in Sunday's Women's Pro Singles Grand Final. Stewart came through a three-set battle against Bobbi Oshiro, 16-18, 15-6, 15-8, while Van Reek beat the Philippines' Kelsey Laurente in straight sets, 15-6, 15-10.
