PJ Collective and Pickle Point Both Plan Halloween Open Play on 31 Oct

Two venues have Halloween open play on 31 Oct, one built around a zombie challenge and the other around a costume contest.

PJ Collective runs its first Halloween Open Play that Saturday from 3pm to 6pm, and Pickle Point MY follows with a Halloween Social Open Play from 8pm to 10pm.

Beat the Zombies at PJ Collective

The session is a 3-hour social play. Players team up in pairs and face off against PJC coaches @brandoncheah.pb, @laggerchan.pb and @jmein97 in a Beat the Zombies challenge. Games are played to 15 points with rally scoring and sudden death.

Pairs can complete mini challenges to earn Power Cards, one card per challenge. The cards on the poster are Paddle Change, where the zombie plays with a regular paddle for 5 points, Off Hand, where the zombie plays with their non-dominant hand for 5 points, and Resurrect, which takes 2 points off the zombie.

On the prize side, FILA Malaysia gift vouchers worth RM200 are on offer. The poster gives RM200 to each player in the top 4 pairs that beat the zombies by the biggest point difference, and a prize for the best-dressed player with the best Halloween outfit.

Costumes at Pickle Point MY

Pickle Point MY's night session asks players to swap their everyday look for their spookiest, funniest or most creative costume. Entry is RM25, and registration runs through a Playbypoint link in the venue's own post.

The best costume wins prizes in kind worth up to RM300 for 1st place, RM200 for 2nd and RM100 for 3rd.
