A Bigger Stage Than Most Malaysia Stops

Player registration has already closed, but tickets for fans went on sale 7 Aug, alongside a full merchandise line, paddles, apparel, caps, and a tournament mascot plush, per the tour's own announcement.

The Hood itself is not a stranger to competitive pickleball. The venue separately launched its own pickleball academy this month under head coach Kenjii, and is now hosting one of the higher-tier stops on PPA Tour Asia's 2026 calendar in the same span of weeks, a real sign the venue is building toward more than recreational court bookings.
