PUPA Runs Three Pickleball Programmes at Putrajaya Education Carnival

Persatuan Pickleball Putrajaya (PUPA) ran a full day of pickleball programming at the Karnival Pendidikan Madani Putrajaya 2026, an 8am-to-5pm community education carnival at Kompleks Sekolah Presint 15 on 22 August 2026.

The day combined three separate activities: a beginner clinic led by Coach Khairol, a girls-only mini-tournament, and an open try-out session, backed by paddle brand Felet plus sponsors Yobick Malaysia and Telaga Biru.

Three Programmes in One Day

• Klinik Pengenalan Sukan Pickleball, a beginner clinic covering basic rules and technique, led by Coach Khairol, RM10 per participant with proceeds going to PIBG SMKPP 15
• SUGAR (Sukan Untuk Gadis Remaja), a mini-game reserved for secondary school girls in Putrajaya, capped at 8 teams, RM20 per team
• Try Out & Fun Games, a free, open-to-all session sponsored by Telaga Biru and Yobick

The same day also carried an MOU signing between Sekolah Rintis SMKPP 15 and Persatuan Pickleball WP Putrajaya, tying the carnival programming to a longer-term school partnership rather than a one-off appearance.

Sponsors, and a Real Goodie Bag

Felet supplied branded banners and a gear rack courtside, with several participants pictured holding Felet paddles. Telaga Biru, marking its 25th anniversary since 1997, handed out goodie bags including copies of the book "Sedekad Kembara Bumi Malaysia," while Yobick Malaysia distributed its flavoured milk drinks to participants.

PUPA closed out its coverage thanking participants directly and expressing hope the sport keeps growing in popularity among Putrajaya residents, a grassroots push distinct from the association's other recent work signing a formal school MOU and running its own tournament-management course.
