ReSkills and IPTPA Run a Level 1 Coaching Workshop in PJ

ReSkills Pickleball, in partnership with the International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA) and venue partner School of Pickleball, is hosting an IPTPA Level 1 coaching certification workshop in Petaling Jaya on 27 September 2026.

The pathway runs 12 hours of online learning, completed at least a week before the on-court session, followed by an on-court evaluation of coaching methodology and ball-feeding skills, then a final online exam. Registration and the USD 320 certification fee (which includes a one-year IPTPA membership) go through IPTPA directly at iptpa.com, plus a mandatory RM60 local fee covering a welcome gift, event t-shirt, and court facilities. The on-court session runs 27 September, 9am to 1pm, at School of Pickleball, Petaling Jaya, with a second date, 25 October, also listed at Satellite Sports PJ.

A Different Certification Body Than RPO

IPTPA is a distinct, separate coaching certification organisation from RPO (Racket Professional Organisation) APAC, which runs its own Level 1 Workshop tour across Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Philippines, and from PPR (Professional Pickleball Registry), the official education partner of USA Pickleball. All three run real, separate certification pathways in the region, and a coach's credential from one doesn't carry over as equivalent to another.
