RPM Jade Arrives at Picklr Picklr, With Demo Paddles at Dinklab

The RPM Jade is now in two Malaysian shops, one with stock and one with a demo paddle. Picklr Picklr Malaysia announced on 13 Oct that its first batch of Jade Elongated paddles, in 16mm and 14mm, had arrived, and Dinklab posted the same day that Jade demo paddles were available at its Flagship Store in Petaling Jaya.

Picklr Picklr's batch carries the USA Pickleball approved mark on the packaging, along with James Ignatowich's name and signature. The shop says stock is landing in batches of only a few pieces, so each pre-order is being filled in order sequence as units arrive. Customers who have not yet pre-ordered are asked to DM the shop to secure a slot.

Try It Before You Commit

Both shops are putting demo paddles in players' hands. Picklr Picklr's follow-up reel invites customers to demo the Jade and describes it as "super gritty super good spin." Dinklab says players should "experience it yourself before making your move."

Dinklab calls the Jade one of the most anticipated paddles of the year. Because of what it describes as overwhelming demand and a high volume of backorders, it says pre-order customers will be prioritised for fulfilment and shipping.

What the Jade Is

RPM describes the Jade as a full-foam paddle with an MPP floating core and a SICmatrix surface, built around "spin that lasts." On its product page for the 16mm Elongated, RPM lists an average weight of 7.8 oz and a swing weight of 112, with USAP PBCoR .43 approval. Both shops' photos show the Jade on a HEAD measuring device. The readouts show 222.5 g at Dinklab and 209.2 g at Picklr Picklr, but neither post says which thickness was on the stand, so the two numbers are not a like-for-like comparison.

Both retailers posted pre-order offers on 29 Aug. Dinklab listed a retail price of RM1,199 and a pre-order price of RM1,019, 15% off, with shipping starting in mid-October. Picklr Picklr offered an early-bird pre-order price of RM999, with an ETA of mid-October, and listed the paddle in 16mm and 14mm, Elongated and Widebody. None of this week's three posts states a price.
