Sabrina Gee celebrates winning the Kejohanan Pickleball Piala Ketua Menteri Pulau Pinang 2026 mixed doubles title

Sabrina Gee's 36 Hours: A Title, a Clinic, a New Team

Three real developments, roughly 36 hours, one player. Sabrina Gee won a Penang tournament title, ran a clinic the next morning, and was welcomed onto a paddle brand's roster that same evening.

Champion, Back on Home Turf

Gee and her partner won the Beregu Campuran Terbuka (Mixed Doubles Open) at the Kejohanan Pickleball Piala Ketua Menteri Pulau Pinang 2026, a RM3,200 title at what's billed as Northern Malaysia's largest pickleball venue. In her own reflection on the win, Gee noted how much the Penang pickleball community has grown and how much the overall playing level has risen since her last visit.

Coaching the Next Morning

The following morning, 91 PickleBall Clubhouse hosted her Backhand Master Pickleball Clinic, supported by the Empire Talent Circle team. The club described it as a day of hands-on learning and group activities, a coach who'd just won a title the day before, teaching hers the next.

Welcomed to Team Luzz

That same evening, Gee was welcomed to Team Luzz at a Penang event, pictured in a "Welcome to Team Luzz" sash and Luzz branded cap in front of a "Penang is Luzzing" backdrop, alongside other players in Luzz apparel. Her own caption keeps the framing simple: "A wonderful opportunity, and hopefully many more to come." Neither her post nor Luzz's own tags state the specific nature of the arrangement, so this is best read as a real welcome moment rather than a confirmed sponsorship deal until either side says more.

A title, a clinic, and a brand welcome inside two days is a genuinely full week by any measure, on-court results, coaching, and a new team connection landing almost back to back.
