Syed Uzair, Aaiman Hamdan Reunite to Win Lenmis Open Men's Doubles Title
Andrew LeeSyed Uzair and Aaiman Hamdan won the Men's Doubles 19+ Open title at the VREW by Lenmis Pickleball Championship 2026, taking home RM5,000 in prize money for the division. The final was played on 19 Sep, the middle day of the three day event held 18 to 20 Sep at Tomaz Pickleball Club in Subang Jaya, Selangor.
A Reunion Two Years in the Making
Syed Uzair posted that he and Aaiman Hamdan had gone two years without partnering before this title. Hamdan called it their "first gold together" since getting back on court, adding that "some things just pick up where they left off."
New Colours, First Title
Hamdan officially signed with JOOLA and Tomaz Pickleball Club in late August, calling it a partnership that is "more than just a signing." He tagged both accounts again in his Lenmis Open post, along with Lenmis Vision, and posed afterward with a JOOLA Perseus paddle. Tomaz Pickleball Club, the tournament's venue, also hosted the PPA 125 2026 Tomaz Cup in August, where Hamdan competed under the same JOOLA and Tomaz banner.
Uzair, sponsored by Luzz Pickleball and FILA Southeast Asia, has been playing this season with Luzz's Glider 2026 paddle, which he has been promoting with his own discount code in recent posts.
Their RM5,000 title came out of a field organisers put at 480 teams across 18 categories, part of a tournament that had promoted more than RM200,000 in total prize money ahead of the event.
