World No. 2 Gabe Tardio Adds Penang Stop to Malaysia Tour

Malaysia's guided play calendar with Gabe Tardio just picked up a second city. What was announced as a single Kuala Lumpur date at PXP Pickleball Club now runs straight into Penang the following night, at GOAT Pickle Club.

Both sessions are locked in for 14 Sept in Kuala Lumpur and 15 Sept in Penang, each running 6PM to 10PM. Tickets for either stop drop 5% with the code TPB5, and The Pickle Base, the account running ticketing for both dates, is sending out the booking link to anyone who comments "TARDIO" on its announcement Reel.

He Is Already in the Country

Tardio, the PPA Tour's No. 2 ranked men's player, is not flying in just for two club sessions. He is in Malaysia this week for his tournament debut in the country, the Leapmotor Kuala Lumpur Cup, a PPA Asia 1000 event running 9 to 13 Sept at The Hood in Kuala Lumpur.

Per PPA Tour Asia's own preview, Tardio stays on for local clinics once the tournament wraps, then moves to Singapore and the Philippines for more of the same. The KL and Penang dates are that stopover, not a separate trip.

Two Cities, Two Clubs

The Kuala Lumpur stop runs at PXP Pickleball Club, an indoor, air conditioned venue at Pavilion Damansara Heights. It is priced at RM1,399, described as an intimate, on court experience where guests play alongside and interact directly with Tardio, with limited spots available.

The Penang stop follows at GOAT Pickle Club's GOAT 3 location in Sungai Pinang, one of the club's three sites across the island. Pricing for the Penang date has not been separately confirmed, and the newly added date is the reason to check directly through The Pickle Base rather than assume it mirrors KL.

Part of a Wider Asia Swing

The stops are presented by Facolos, Tardio's paddle sponsor, as part of what the brand is billing as his Asia Tour. After Malaysia, Tardio heads to Singapore for a fan event called One Point Slam on 18 Sept, where 25 selected players get the chance to play him directly, before continuing to the Philippines.
