Friday x Montis Drop 1.0 Sunset Shoe Goes on Sale in the Philippines at ₱8,995
Andrew LeeFriday Pickleball and Montis Pickleball now have their collaborative Drop 1.0 shoe on sale in the Philippines. Gentle Pickle is selling the Sunset colorway through its website, Shopee and TikTok Shop, listed at ₱8,995.
The shoe is white with purple and orange accents, black laces, a purple heel tab carrying the Montis logo and a pickleball-patterned outsole. A Friday wordmark sits on the side of the shoe.
What Is Built Into the Drop 1.0
Gentle Pickle's listing runs through the same feature set as the Montis original: a high-density outsole, a toe-slide support patch for pressure points, breathable mesh with a wear-resistant 3D structure, an inner sock structure, heel reinforcement for lateral movement and a crash-resistant toe cap. Its launch post sums it up as durable where it matters and supportive through every lateral move.
Friday's own product page adds the numbers: about 12 oz in a size 9.5, an 8 mm heel drop and an athletic, snug fit, with a recommendation to go half a size up from your regular size.
Who Montis Is
Montis is a Salt Lake City footwear company built around one idea. Its founders saw that “the fastest-growing sport in America didn't have footwear built for its unique movements,” and the Drop 1.0 is its main line, sold in a range of colorways. Gentle Pickle lists the shoe under its Friday collection in sizes from Men's 5.5 to Men's 11.5, which is Women's 7 to Women's 13. Men's 11 was showing as sold out on 25 Sep. Gentle Pickle's own posts also follow Team Friday Pickleball Philippines, which took second in the team event at the PPL Visayas Open 2026.
The launch shared the week with a second Friday item at the store, the Friday Pickleball Backpack in a signature edition named for pro Rachel Rohrabacher, in Burgundy and Cream at ₱6,990. Gentle Pickle describes six zippered pockets, a separate shoe compartment, breathable backing and room for up to five paddles. Rohrabacher was Friday’s first-ever signed pro.
For anyone ordering online, the practical note is sizing. Friday recommends going half a size up, and Men's 11 is already sold out.
