JOOLA x Steve Aoki: Two Paddles, Two Rackets and a Card Pack

Andrew Lee

Five tiers of trading card, from a base blue to a single gold 1/1, now come inside the box of a $349.95 JOOLA paddle.

That is the hook of the JOOLA x Steve Aoki HiROQUEST collection, which JOOLA put on sale on 6 Oct 2026 exclusively at JOOLA.com. The paddle is the Perseus Pro V 16mm, dressed in HiROQUEST artwork and graffiti-style Steve Aoki lettering on the face.

Four products, two sides

The collection has four products: two Perseus Pro V 16mm pickleball paddles at $349.95 each, and two Infinity Carbon table tennis rackets at $199.95 each. Every product comes in two colorways named after the HiROQUEST characters. Hiro is the protagonist, Hyro the antagonist.

On the paddles, Hiro Red pairs a yellow handle with a red edge guard, and Hyro Red pairs a purple handle with the same red edge guard. JOOLA's own post puts the choice to fans in one line: "It's time to choose - Team Hiro or Team Hyro?"

The card in the box

Each paddle ships with a Mystery Pack holding one randomized JOOLA x HiROQUEST character card, and the card matches the paddle's colorway, so a Hiro paddle comes with a Hiro card. JOOLA's product page lists the tiers:

  • Blue: base card
  • Yellow: numbered to 77
  • Orange: numbered to 25
  • Red: numbered to 5
  • Gold: the 1/1 chase card

The page also carries a warranty note: because these colorways are limited, future warranty claims may be honored with a standard Perseus Pro V 16mm paddle.

Who is behind HiROQUEST

Steve Aoki is a two-time Grammy-nominated DJ and record producer, and per JOOLA's press release, a racket-sports player and a longtime friend of the brand. HiROQUEST is his original multiverse story, mixing music, art, collectibles and storytelling around Hiro, a genetically augmented meta-human, and his arch-nemesis Hyro. It began with the album HiROQUEST: Genesis and has grown into graphic novels, a manga and trading cards.

The release ties into Aoki's support for brain health and active-aging research, and the press release calls it the first collaboration between JOOLA and the Aoki Foundation.

Buying from Malaysia

The collection is sold exclusively through JOOLA.com. The paddle's product page does not spell out international shipping for this item, and no Malaysian stockist has been announced in JOOLA's launch posts, so Malaysian buyers should check delivery options at checkout.
