Six Zero Caps Four Years With 500 Gold Double Black Diamond Paddles

Six Zero has released the Double Black Diamond Gold, a limited 4-Year Anniversary Edition of its Double Black Diamond paddle, and the brand is limiting it to 500 paddles worldwide. Pre-orders are open now at SixZeroPickleball.com.

The Australian paddle brand (@sixzeropickleball) announced it in early October as a thank-you to its community. "Four years of Six Zero, and this one is for our community," the post opens. It says the milestone belongs to every player who "picked up a Six Zero paddle, recommended us to a friend, shared feedback, represented us on court, or simply believed in what we were building."

A New Finish on a Familiar Paddle

The Gold is a new look for an existing model. Six Zero says the Double Black Diamond "has been part of the Six Zero story from the beginning" and that it is giving one of its signature paddles "a commemorative look" for the anniversary. On the product page, the brand calls the standard Double Black Diamond "one of our most iconic all-court paddles" and describes the Gold as a 16mm version with a gold design created for its birthday.

Another Release in a Busy Few Months

The Gold follows a run of paddle drops from the brand. Six Zero released a Coral Pro Infrared colourway in Hybrid, Wide Body and Elongated shapes on 23 Aug, and the Boulder Opal Rough, with a new Rough SharkSkin texture, on 21 Sep. From 28 Sep to 4 Oct it also ran a Birthday Sale of up to 50% off sitewide.
