Timothy Foo Joins the Kazza and Woodfire Kotasas Family
Andrew LeeThree people sat at a table between a Woodfire banner and a Kazza banner, pens in hand, with PPA Pickleball Tour Asia branding on the boards behind them. The photos come from a signing event that Timothy Foo shared on 10 Oct, announcing that he is officially part of the Kazza and Woodfire Kotasas family.

Foo's caption is short: "Officially part of the @kazza.my & @woodfire.kotasas family!" He thanks @azzlan, @symuzzaffar and @roxanneang for their support and says the journey starts here.

A light blue jersey with the name Timothy is held up in one of the photos. A wider group shot shows eight people standing together, five of them holding personalised jerseys with the names Dickson, Zhafree, Timothy, Sabrina and Mirnawan on them.

The Names on the Jerseys
The jerseys carry several business names. Those legible in the photos include Picks & Frenz, Woodfire, Kazza, Arronax, Thrive, FHCO, PBP, DINKiT Store and Amani. Neither the caption nor the photos spell out the terms of the arrangement or what part each name plays, so this article does not describe it.
Foo's Season So Far
Foo was named in Team Malaysia's Open-category squad for the Pickleball World Cup in Da Nang, as listed in Pickle361's roster report. Team Malaysia Pickleball posted that the team's run ended in the quarter-finals, and it credited Foo with a comeback win in the opening match against Jamaica.
On the PPA Asia circuit he reached the second round of the main draw in men's doubles at PPA Ho Chi Minh, after getting through qualifying, and the second round in singles at PPA Shenzhen. Earlier in the year he took silver in Men's Singles and bronze in Men's Doubles at PickleSlam PPA 125 Singapore, where he said he had finally earned PPA points across all three divisions.
