JOOLA and RPO Put $5,000 Behind GPF and WPF Federation Programs
Andrew LeeJOOLA and RPO are putting up a $5,000 Growth Grant for the member federations of the Global Pickleball Federation (GPF) and the World Pickleball Federation (WPF). It was announced at the Global Pickleball Summit 2026 in Hong Kong.

The slide, shown during the opening address by JOOLA CEO and President Richard Lee, marks the grant as "Announcing today". It says the $5,000 is "to support GPF and WPF member federations".
What the $5,000 is meant to cover
The slide lists three uses:
- Equipment for school and community programs
- Coach education
- Beginner clinics
The slide adds that full details would be given at the summit's federation session that day. The grant is described as supported by JOOLA and RPO.
Announced in a speech about a split
The grant came inside an address titled "Elevating Pickleball Together". The Pickle Base's summary of the address says the sport already has shared ambition, but divided governance is slowing the path forward. It says the WPF and GPF both want to lead the world game, and that USA Pickleball and the UPA-A run rival paddle tests.
