Kid Chan Signs With Luzz, the Same Brand World No. 1 Chris Haworth Plays

Andrew Lee

Kid Chan owned four Luzz Pickleball Infernos as his main paddle and spares well before any brand deal existed. He said as much himself back in mid-August, describing the Inferno2 M1 as one that "earned its spot in my bag." Two weeks later, that loyalty became official: Luzz Pickleball named him a global brand ambassador.

Chan, a certified MPA (Level 1) coach with more than 40 five-star reviews and the man behind ICONSBYKIDCHAN, a weekly pickleball social that regularly draws founders and business leaders onto the court, framed the ambassadorship around what it lets him keep doing rather than a personal win. The support, he wrote, "goes straight into the coaching and content that's growing this sport, in Malaysia and beyond."

The Same Brand, a Different Kind of Player

Luzz's roster now spans a real range. Chan noted in his own announcement that the brand is also used by Chris Haworth, the current PPA Tour World No. 1 in men's singles, and by local rising talent Syed Uzair. Between a world-ranked tour pro and a Malaysian community coach with a large, engaged local following, Luzz is building presence at two different ends of the market at once, competitive credibility on one side, grassroots reach on the other.

It's a pattern that's shown up elsewhere in the brand's recent activity too. Luzz paddles have landed at retailers including DINKLAB, Pickle Addicts and Picklefox over the past month, and the brand has kept a visible presence around Malaysian players and events beyond Chan's own signing.

What Comes With the Deal

Chan named the Cannon M2 and the Inferno Frozen as his personal favourites from the lineup, the Cannon built for power with a firmer, more direct feel, the Inferno tuned for a bigger sweet spot and a more forgiving, all-court response. Followers can use the code PICKLEWITHKID for 15% off at luzzpickleball.com/kidchan, and Chan floated the idea of a future Luzz goodie giveaway for his community.
