Wika Signs Patrick Kawka, Wins Debut Match at World Cup

Wika Pickleball has named Patrick Kawka, a Vietnam-based coach, as the first athlete to represent the Wika Pickleball Team, and he marked the milestone with a straight win on his World Cup debut.

Kawka opened his Pickleball World Cup 2026 campaign with a 21-12 win over Armando Ferreira in the Men's Singles Open qualifying round, playing with the Wika QD Air 2 paddle. Wika credits the result to a combination of Kawka's own skill and the paddle's performance.
